Obama's Character

Narcissist

Obama Mirror

The narcissistic personality is entirely focussed on self. They have an inflated sense of their own importance. They need others to admire them. Their actions are actions of self glorification.

The narcissist:

The narcissist recognizes only his immediate needs.

Everything else subordinates itself to those needs. The narcissist, therefore, at any given moment, will convince himself that the facts surrounding him, and the history backing him, are completely congruent with his need right now. He is his own moral compass, he is the truth, the way and the light.

Obama is the first president to declare himself the fourth best president in American history

Obama uses the I word more than all the previous presidents put together

Obama is the first president to blame everything he did wrong on the previous president of three years prior

From the beginning of his administration, Obama would repeatedly admonish his staff, members of Congress and the public about what they could learn from him. Obama projected an arrogant "I'm right, you're wrong" demeanor that in fact alienated many potential allies.

Obama concentrated power within the White House often leaving Cabinet members with no other option but to dutifully carry out policies with which they had limited input in crafting and might very well disagree. This was especially true in the environmental, resources, housing and employment areas.

One former Obama staffer said that it was clear to him that although Obama did not mind giving speeches, he really avoided personal contact with members of Congress and folks outside the Beltway. Obama does not seem to derive energy from spending time with regular people. He rallies to give speeches for the big crowds, but avoids individual contact. This "arms-length" attitude extends to the top advisors in his administration.

New York City mayor Bloomberg once played an afternoon golf with Obama. Bloomberg later exclaimed

"I never met in my life such an arrogant man."

Rupert Murdoch, the owner of conservative media outlets says that "Obama might make great speeches but he does not get things done and he does not listen to anybody."

Obama Self Glorification

As reported by The Heritage Foundation's Rory Cooper, self serving narcissist Obama has added bullet points bragging about his own positions to the official biographical sketches of every single U.S. president since Calvin Coolidge (except for Gerald Ford). The Obama self glorification additions can be found under a bullet section entitled Did you know?. These biographies can be found at www.whitehouse.gov.

Here are a few examples taken from the whitehouse web pages.

President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare signed into law in 1965 - providing millions of elderly healthcare stability. President Obama's historic health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act, strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the "donut hole."
